How the scoring works

01 / The Pool

93/94 only

Every card is a random printing from Alpha, Beta, Unlimited, Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Revised, Legends, The Dark or Fallen Empires. Only cards currently worth more than $5 make the cut.

02 / The Price

Live market

Prices are current TCGplayer market values (USD, near mint) pulled live from Scryfall, which updates them daily. The market baseline behind the scoring is recalculated from the full Old School pool about once a week.

03 / The Math

Name your price

Scoring is linear: 100 points minus your percentage miss. Call a $27 card at $15 and you are 44% off, worth 56 points. A perfect call is 100 points; 1,000 possible.
